AGM Apps ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Lottery Tax Audit website (the "Site"), a calculator that estimates what a lottery prize is actually worth after federal, state, and local tax. This Privacy Policy explains what the Site does with information, and what your choices are.
There are no user accounts on this Site. We never ask who you are, and we operate no server that receives your calculations. The Site is free and supported by advertising, which is the one place where third parties do receive information about your visit — Section 4 sets that out in detail.
This policy covers mylottoaudit.com only. The Lotto Audit iOS and Android apps have their own privacy policies, linked from agmapps.net.
The Site works from what you type into it. That includes:
We never see any of it. It stays in your browser. See Section 3.
We collect nothing automatically ourselves. The Site contains no analytics of our own and sends no usage reports to AGM Apps. Third-party advertising components and other assets loaded by the page do collect technical information; that is described in Section 4 and is not something we receive.
Unlike the mobile apps, this website has no camera / ticket scanner, no iCloud sync, no push notifications, and no App Tracking Transparency prompt. There is nothing to upload and no account to sign into.
Your audits, language, theme, and cookie-banner choice are written to your browser's local storage on this device. That data never leaves your device as far as we are concerned. We operate no database of it.
The Site displays advertisements through Adsterra. On the calculator that is a banner. On Lucky Numbers, generating numbers can open a sponsor page in a new tab (a popunder). Frequency capping for that popunder is set in Adsterra's dashboard, not in this Site's code.

To show current jackpot amounts, the Site downloads a small public data file from GitHub (raw.githubusercontent.com). This is a plain one-way download of public lottery figures — the request carries no information about you beyond what any web request necessarily reveals to the host serving it, namely your IP address, and it contains nothing about your audits or numbers. GitHub's handling of that request is governed by GitHub's Privacy Statement.
Like most modern websites, this Site loads a few assets from external providers. Those providers may log your IP address and browser information when your browser requests their files. AGM Apps does not receive or store this data.
AGM Apps does not set a first-party tracking cookie. The cookie banner records a single preference in local storage (cookiesAccepted) so we do not keep asking. Advertising partners listed above may set their own cookies. You can block or clear those in your browser; blocking them may mean ads still appear, just without personalization, or that some ads fail to load.
AGM Apps, a software developer established in the State of Florida, United States, is the controller of the limited personal data described in this Policy. Contact details are in Section 12. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to under Article 37 GDPR.
Where the Site stores data only in your browser — your audits, numbers, state and filing status, and preferences — you control that data and we are neither its controller nor its processor. We have no technical means of reaching it.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, the GDPR requires us to tell you the lawful basis for each thing we do:

Entering your state or filing status is not a statutory or contractual requirement — but the Site cannot calculate a tax figure without it. There is no automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects, and no profiling of you by us.
AGM Apps is established in the United States. If you use the Site from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland and you receive advertising, personal data may be transferred to and processed in the United States by advertising and infrastructure providers. Those transfers rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions where the recipient is certified, and otherwise on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as set out in each provider's own terms. We operate no servers of our own for this Site, so we transfer nothing ourselves.
Because we run no user accounts and hold nothing linked to your identity, we will frequently be unable to identify you within the meaning of Article 11(2), and we will say so plainly rather than pretend otherwise. The practical upshot is better than it sounds: you can exercise access, correction, and erasure yourself, instantly, in your browser.
Start with the shape of the risk: because the Site has no user accounts and your audits never reach our servers, a breach of our systems could not expose that data. There is nothing there to take.

We want to be straight with you about one limitation: we hold no email address or other contact details for visitors, so we cannot send you a personal message. Publication on the Site and on our developer website is how you would be told.
You have full control over your data, and most of it is exercised directly in the browser rather than by asking us:
Lottery Tax Audit is a tax-calculation utility intended for adults of legal lottery-playing age, and it is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
For parents: because the Site keeps everything in the browser, the fastest deletion path is in your hands — open History and clear it, or delete this site's data in the browser. If you believe a child has provided information through the Site and you would like our help, use the contact control in Section 12 and we will respond.
This section applies if you live in a U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law — including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island, plus any other state whose law is in effect when you read this.
Using the categories named in the California Consumer Privacy Act:
We never receive your audits, jackpot figures, saved numbers, state of residence, or filing status. They live in your browser. We hold no copy and have no way to look them up. We collect no name, no email address from the calculator, no Social Security number, no financial account or card numbers, no precise location, no biometrics, no health data, no contacts, and no messages.
We have never sold personal information for money and do not do so. When personalized advertising is on, our ad partners may receive your IP address and cookie identifiers and may use them to target ads. Under California law that can count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, and under several other state laws it can count as "targeted advertising" or a "sale." We would rather tell you that plainly than rely on a narrow reading of the word "sell."
You can stop it, free, by blocking third-party cookies or using an ad blocker, or by sending "Do Not Sell or Share" through the contact control in Section 12.
We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.
This Site does not currently read a Global Privacy Control (GPC) header. The practical equivalent is blocking third-party cookies in your browser, which stops Adsterra from keeping a personalized identifier on this device.
You may know and access, delete, correct, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale / sharing / targeted advertising, and appeal a refusal. We will not withhold the Site or change your price because you exercised a privacy right.
Use the contact control in Section 12 with the request type in the subject line. We will acknowledge within 10 business days and answer within 45 days, extendable once by another 45 with notice.
About verification: the Site has no user accounts and we hold nothing tied to your name, so in most cases we genuinely cannot connect any record to you as a person. We will say so plainly rather than pretend otherwise. The fastest remedy is in your own hands: clear History, or clear this site's data in the browser.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add or change an advertising partner. When we make changes, the "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
